Ingredients for the Meatballs

  • 500 g Ground Beef
  • ½ Onion, chopped very small
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Egg
  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Paprika

Ingredients for the Gravy

  • 2 teaspoon Chicken bouillon
  • 2 teaspoon Beef bouillon
  • cups Water (boiling) (600ml)
  • 2 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

Step-by-step to make Meatballs

  • Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix it well. Best is for you to use your hands.

  • Make 1 inch balls (about 30 grams each meatball).
    Make small one inch meatballs and place them into a pan
  • Cook the meatballs in a pan on medium-high heat. 5 minutes on one side, flip the meatballs, cook for another 3 minutes. Remove the meatballs from the pan and reserve.

How to Make Homemade Gravy for Meatballs

  • Use the same pan you used to cook the meatballs to make the gravy (leave the leftover oil). Add the Cornstarch, all seasons to the pan and mix it well.

  • Add the water and keep mixing it for about 3 minutes, until it thickens and boils.

  • Add the meatballs back to the pan and let it simmer together with the gravy for another 2 minutes. Serve it on top of mashed potatoes.
