Ingredients for the Meatballs
- 500 g Ground Beef
- ½ Onion, chopped very small
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Egg
- ¼ cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Paprika
Ingredients for the Gravy
- 2 teaspoon Chicken bouillon
- 2 teaspoon Beef bouillon
- 2¼ cups Water (boiling) (600ml)
- 2 Tablespoon Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
Step-by-step to make Meatballs
Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix it well. Best is for you to use your hands.
Make 1 inch balls (about 30 grams each meatball).
Cook the meatballs in a pan on medium-high heat. 5 minutes on one side, flip the meatballs, cook for another 3 minutes. Remove the meatballs from the pan and reserve.
How to Make Homemade Gravy for Meatballs
Use the same pan you used to cook the meatballs to make the gravy (leave the leftover oil). Add the Cornstarch, all seasons to the pan and mix it well.
Add the water and keep mixing it for about 3 minutes, until it thickens and boils.
Add the meatballs back to the pan and let it simmer together with the gravy for another 2 minutes. Serve it on top of mashed potatoes.
