Beef Burrito Ingredients
For Making the Beef
- ½ Tablespoon Vegetable oil
- ½ Onion, finely diced
- 1 Garlic clove, minced
- 150 g Minced beef
- ½ teaspoon Papripa
- ½ teaspoon Dried Cumin
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Oregano
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- ½ Tablespoon Tomato paste
- 2 Tablespoons Water
For Assembling the Burritos
- 2 Large Tortillas
- 1 cup Cooked white rice
- ½ cup Canned corn
- ½ cup Canned black beans (or Kidney beans) (drain before using it)
- 1 Small Red onion, finely sliced
- Cheddar cheese to taste
- 2 sheets Foil paper
How to Make the Best Beef Burrito
- In a medium-high heat pan, add the oil and diced onion. Stir fry it for about 2 minutes.
- Add the beef and spread it well across the pan. Let it get a bit crispy at the bottom before mixing it.
- Once the bottom part is cooked, mix the beef and add the minced garlic. Stir fry for 1 minute. Add all the seasonings for the beef at once, the tomato paste, and the water and cook for 2 minutes. The beef filling is ready. Reserve.
- In a large enough pan on medium-high heat, add the tortilla and quickly warm it up on each side. Careful for the tortilla do not get crunchy, only fluffy.
- On a plate, plate foil paper and then the tortilla on top. Start by adding the rice, beans and corn.
- Add the cooked beef and red onion
- Finally, add the cheddar cheese.
- Close the tortilla and make sure it is covered in the foil paper.
- Add the tortilla into the frying pan over medium-high heat. Let it cook on each side for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve it immediately. It goes great with a side of sour cream or salsa.

- Flip them and microwave for another 2 minutes.
Using the Oven (takes 40 minutes)
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Wrap the burrito with foil paper.
- Bake the burrito for 40 minutes.
