  • 1½ Tablespoons Soy sauce
  • ½ Tablespoon Oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Honey
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch

How to Make the Best Malaysian-inspired Lemon Chicken

  1. Start by adding into a bowl the cubed chicken and all seasonings for the marinate. Mix it well and set it aside for 10 minutes.
  2. In a pan on medium-high heat, add the oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken and stir fry it for about 6 minutes.
  3. Add both ginger and garlic and stir fry it for about a minute.
  4. Add the green onion, lemon juice and sliced lemon. Mix it well and turn off the heat.
  5. Serve it immediately with a side of white rice.
