Garlicky, Buttery, and Tender Mushrooms.
Garlic mushrooms are a savory and simple side dish that highlights the earthy flavor of mushrooms with the rich aroma of garlic. The mushrooms are sautéed in butter, allowing them to absorb the garlic’s fragrant oils while releasing their natural juices. As they cook, the mushrooms become tender and caramelized, developing a deep umami flavor. The addition of fresh herbs like parsley, along with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, enhances the dish’s complexity. Garlic mushrooms are versatile and can be served as a side dish, a topping for toast, or a flavorful addition to pasta, risotto, or salads.
